Sronu is now available on the App Store and Google Play. This is a milestone for us.
How we got here
We started in May 2025 as a BECE practice platform for JHS students. We went live with a few questions, people used it, and we saw something worth building.
Over time, we added more subjects and brought two people on to help process past questions. Around August, we decided to build a mobile app. It was ready by December, and after testing, we submitted to the stores.
Apple approved Sronu on January 2, 2026. Google took a bit longer. Our first submission was rejected, but after making the necessary changes, we were approved on January 3, 2026.
What is next
Right now, Sronu is a BECE practice platform. But that is not where it ends.
We are evolving toward a complete JHS study app where students can:
- Learn across topics - not only revise for one annual exam
- Study sequentially - based on what they are learning in class
- Build foundations - with both practice and understanding
This shift from exam-focused to learning-focused will take time, but we are committed to building something more complete for students.
